Message	To smooth out the curve. Sounds like his peak power was between two measured points on the curve, so the max power estimate is based on the estimated graph of the power curve, which depends on the smoothing factor (a higher number reduces the high and low points of the curve more to make it 'smoother'). Rule #1 - There's always a bastard!
